Objectives
- help in establishing the pedagogical objectives of planned training courses in the building trades.
- providing Saharawi trainers with teaching materials and methods developed as part of the Saharawi housing improvement program.
- training trainers in the use of these teaching aids.
- assistance in setting up educational programs tailored to the needs of the Saharan population and the capabilities of the CFPG (Gazuani Vocational Training Center).

The populations of the Sahrawi camps are sorely lacking in local skills. In the field of public infrastructure construction (schools, dispensaries, offices, etc.), projects carried out in the camps or in the liberated territories are mostly, if not exclusively, the work of Algerian or Mauritanian craftsmen. When it comes to the construction of private buildings, local populations rarely rely on competent people, not only for reasons of economy, but more often than not because there are few qualified professionals available.
Results
- Teaching materials have been developed and made available to local partners.
- 3 trainers have been trained in the use of these teaching aids.
Project realization
A comprehensive teaching kit on teaching earthen construction in the Saharan camps (translated into Arabic) has been developed.
