Objectives
This project is part of the 14th International Architecture Biennale of São Paulo (BIAsp), dedicated to climate challenges and the role of architecture in the ecological transition. It aims to promote the use of natural materials, particularly earth, as a lever for sustainable architecture adapted to local contexts.
Through a series of activities (exhibition, educational workshops, conferences, and roundtable discussions), the project helped raise awareness among a wide audience (professionals, students, and the general public) about the challenges of earth construction and the associated know-how, across different scales.
Conducted in partnership with Brazilian academic and professional institutions, it fostered international knowledge exchange and contributed to highlighting low-impact, local, and resilient construction approaches in response to climate change.
