Objectives
The town of Creil plans to create a conservation centre of around 1,500 m² to improve conditions for conserving the town's heritage collections. This conservation centre will comprise secure areas for conserving the town's heritage collections, with storage rooms for the archives and storerooms for the archaeological, fine china and painting collections.
The architectural firm Lusso et Laurent has commissioned CRAterre to provide design assistance for the design of an exterior rammed earth envelope for the Centre de Conservation et d'Études du Patrimoine in Creil (67).
The project involves building part of the facade in rammed earth. The project does not require validation by ATEx (control office: Veritas).
