Organised by Asterre from 21 to 23 November in Marseille, the theme of this year\\\'s 9th Raw Earth Building Meeting will be the place of people in raw earth construction.
Around thirty specialists will be invited to share their experiences and the progress being made in the sector around 4 major themes that place the human element at the heart of the discussions. Raw earth building mobilises skills, know-how, and physical and human resources, all of which mean that we need to meet and talk together. How can we listen to each other and collectively take charge of the act of building and renovating in the face of a building sector that has to consider environmental imperatives? How can the industry, however diverse it may be, organise itself and sustain itself locally and nationally to respond to a change in scale while preserving its founding principles? These meetings, bringing together a wide range of professionals working on these issues, are a further invitation to come together in Marseille to reclaim the power to act collectively.
