What lessons can be learnt from the recent experimental campaigns on rammed earth masonry?

Following the results presentation day for the experimental campaigns of the Pisez!, ParaSisTerre, Bauges Porteuses and B2M projects, held on 2 July at the UGA campus, we look forward to seeing you on Friday 3 July at the Grenoble National School of Architecture for a morning session dedicated to the B2M project.

As the winner of the SIC call for projects led by ADEME and funded under the France 2030 plan, the B2M project aims to improve our understanding of the performance of raw earth masonry through test campaigns focusing on its mechanical and hygrothermal characteristics, as well as its fire behaviour.

This event will provide an opportunity to discover the results obtained, the lessons learnt from the test campaigns, and the deliverables developed as part of the project.

Architects, engineers, craftspeople, producers, inspection bodies, testing centres, training organisations, researchers and students: this morning session is aimed at all stakeholders in the raw earth construction sector.
