This professional training course provides the basics for designing and building with raw earth today. Thanks to a number of experienced lecturers and feedback from the CRAterre-AE&CC research team and the 3SR laboratory, participants will be able to acquire the tools and approaches needed to design and justify a detail, an element or a structure in raw earth in a contemporary project. Through a series of case studies, site visits, experiments and project exercises, they will gain a better understanding of the technical, economic and regulatory issues involved in building with raw earth.
