The publication Adobe Architecture Conservation Guidelines: Focusing on Yazd Historic City received the Dr. Manouchehr Mozayyeni Architecture and Urban Planning Book Award in 2025.
Edited by Mohsen Abbasi Harofteh, this publication was supported by the project Sustainable Preservation of the Yazd World Heritage, led by CRAterre. It focuses on the conservation of adobe architecture in the historic city of Yazd, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
This distinction recognizes a significant body of research and knowledge-building dedicated to earth heritage conservation practices within a major historic urban context.
