News > Ouvrage: Architecture de terre et patrimoine mondial

In his new book, the Belgian architect André Stevens shares with us his fascination for traditional building techniques and in particular those using the most spread material on our planet, clay. This book, filled with many illustrations, is the result of more than 40 years of travelling, studying, researches and projects in various regions of the world. This unique experience will enrich our knowledge and solicit our enthusiasm.

Following the example of oriental authors, André Stevens has divided his book, devoted to earthen architecture and world heritage, into fifteen doors, which open to the great regions of Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Mediterranean, where constructions in earth were built and are conserved; some of them were built more than six thousand years ago, as shown by the most recent historical researches.
