Les Zones rurales en Colombie ont comme caract\u00e9ristique la construction de maisons en torchis, en particulier pour les plus d\u00e9munis, parfois en situation de grande pauvret\u00e9. Largement d\u00e9valoris\u00e9 dans l\u2019imaginaire local, ce patrimoine est souvent mal entretenu, se d\u00e9grade, ce qui rend ce b\u00e2ti plus vuln\u00e9rables aux risques li\u00e9s au changement climatique.<\/p>\n

Cette situation est particuli\u00e8rement visible dans le sud du d\u00e9partement de Cesar o\u00f9 70 % de la population vit dans des maisons en terre,\u00a0 avec un r\u00eave inaccessible, une maison en dur.<\/p>\n

Consciente de l\u2019impasse d\u2019une telle situation, l\u00b4Hacienda La Gloria, entreprise qui produit de l\u2019huile de palme dans cette zone, a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de travailler avec l\u00b4architecte Dario Angulo du CRAterre pour mettre en \u0153uvre un programme de revalorisation de cet habitat au travers de proposition pour son am\u00e9lioration \u00e0 la fois technique et esth\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n

Pour atteindre cet objectif, une s\u00e9rie de formations d\u2019une dur\u00e9e de trois jours a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e. Depuis 2010, 7 ateliers de formation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9s dans les communes La Mata, Sima\u00f1a, San Bernardo et Costilla et dans ce cadre, d\u00e9j\u00e0 146 familles ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019un habitat am\u00e9lior\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le plus int\u00e9ressant est que l\u2019on assiste \u00e0 une regain de fiert\u00e9 des habitants. Du coup ils entretiennent mieux leurs maisons : une spirale vertueuse pour la durabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9silience de ces familles. Allant dans le m\u00eame sens, les techniques propos\u00e9es \u00e9tant largement accessibles, d\u00e9sormais d\u2019autres familles prennent en charge elles-m\u00eames des travaux d\u2019am\u00e9lioration de leur habitat.<\/p>\n
