The conference themes are the study of vernacular architecture and its mechanisms for sustainability, the conservation and restoration of vernacular architecture and the potential applications of sustainable lessons of vernacular heritage to contemporary architecture. The conference will take place on 11th, 12th and 13th September 2014, at the School of Architecture of Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia. Associated to VerSus 2014 Conference will be organized Mediterra 2014, the second conference of Earthen Architecture in the Mediterranean region, and ResTAPIA 2014, the second conference of earthen architecture conservation in general, and rammed earth conservation, in particular.<\/p>\n<p>The conference programme of VerSus 2014 includes keynote lectures by international experts and the presentation of papers and posters during 11th and 12th September 2014.
